Deborah Isom is a retired educator and administrator with over 35 years of dedicated service in the classroom. Holding a Master’s degree in Exceptional Education, she has spent her career advocating for students and understanding the diverse ways in which children learn, grow, and process the world around them. Deborah is now embarking on a new chapter as an author.
Her writing is deeply rooted in her professional expertise, designed to serve as a bridge between educational logic and creative wonder. By encouraging “divergent thinking,” Deborah aims to inspire students in Grades 3–5 to recognize that the world is full of beauty and potential, if only they have the courage to see it.
